Our mission is to help people create enough space for God to do something in the inner lives of their being, especially to draw them close to himself. Intimacy with God is the necessary condition for propulsion into service for God.
To do this we create opportunities for guided, extended, undistracted time with God that are meant to lead to rest, renewal and revitalization for those in need and those who serve them. These are opportunities to encounter God, listen to him, and discern what he is doing in one’s life.
Such opportunities come through retreats, workshops, personal spiritual guidance, counsel, and companionship. The retreats and personal counsel will focus on questions about personal identity, one’s view of and relationship to God, and discerning what he might be saying to a person through life’s circumstances and challenges. Always the purpose is to point people to God.
There are three projects that are part of the Space for God ministry:

- The Center for Teacher Renewal — for that special group of shepherds who are educators
- Reimagining Life — for those who have been pushed to the margins of society
